DIY Solar Company is thrilled to announce our recent collaboration with The Farmhouse in Plymouth, MA, hosting Dr. Jane Goodall during the Jane Goodall Institute's Youth Summit. This event gathered young changemakers from across the U.S. to discuss innovative ideas for positively impacting people, animals, and the environment.
The Farmhouse is a beacon of sustainability and innovation. DIY Solar Company is proud to have designed and launched The Farmhouse's Sustainable Energy Plan. Our goal is to produce all of The Farmhouse’s energy, eliminate carbon emissions, and donate excess energy to local families in need. Our Phase 1 solar installation is already generating 40% of The Farmhouse’s energy needs, marking a significant step towards achieving this audacious goal.
During her visit, Dr. Jane Goodall toured our solar installation at The Farmhouse. She was impressed by our progress and the impact of our work on the environment and community. Her presence was a powerful reminder of the importance of sustainable practices and community action.
Jane’s Youth Summit at The Farmhouse brought together over 400 Plymouth South High School students, with another 1,400 students joining virtually. They listened to her inspiring message of hope and action. This event underscored our commitment to empowering the next generation through sustainable energy education and initiatives.
Dr. Jane Goodall also had the opportunity to check out a container owned by Project Trinitē. Lisa Becker from the National Marine Wildlife Center gave a presentation in this container, which DIY Solar Company equipped with solar panels, battery storage, and Starlink. Our work with Project Trinitē showcases our expertise in designing and implementing energy solutions for innovative projects.
Meeting Dr. Jane Goodall and participating in her Youth Summit at The Farmhouse has been an incredible experience for DIY Solar Company. We remain dedicated to providing top-tier solar installations, empowering communities, and protecting our environment. Stay tuned for an upcoming article detailing our work with Project Trinitē and our ongoing efforts to make a positive impact worldwide.
